Coral bells are not hungry plants and an annual mulch of garden compost in spring is generally more than enough supplemental nutrition. However, those grown in containers can benefit from a liquid feed being given every 2 to 4 weeks to replace lost nutrients. 

Coral Bells require minimal pruning. In spring and fall, you can remove any tatty-looking leaves at the base of the stem. Deadheading spent blooms may help encourage further flowers to emerge. As a clump-forming plant, the Dressed Up™ Ball Gown Coral Bells can be divided every 2 to 3 years.
