Apply a rose-specific fertilizer to inspire bigger and better blooms throughout the season.
To encourage flowering and discourage disease, trim damaged, diseased, and/or dead canes during late winter/early spring. Then, cut back the healthy stems by a third. Also, remove spent flowers throughout the season to encourage reblooming.
