These bright pink blooms are paired with deep green glossy foliage that makes for a gorgeous contrast. New flowers first appear on new wood in the early summer. The bloom season for the Livin’ La Vida® Rose lasts all summer and is continuous. This shrub grows 3 feet wide and 3 feet tall. Its mounded habit makes it a fantastic thriller for container planting. Use it in landscape planting as a focal point or plant for to use its cut blooms for bouquets and arrangements. Foundation planting is another favorite option.
Livin’ La Vida Rose Care
The Livin’ La Vida Rose loves the sun and should be planted in full sun for best results. Be sure your plant gets at least six hours of sun each day. Soil should be moist but also well-drained. Soil Ph needs to be moderately acidic. Water needs are average for the Livin’ La Vida Rose. Apply granular fertilizer when new growth appears and continue to fertilize through mid-summer. Deadheading is not necessary. Trimming to shape can be done in the spring.
