The Midnight Masquerade Beardtongue is easy to care for. Plant in full sun for best flowering results. Soil should be average to dry, and very well drained. Prefers neutral soil and can tolerate all soil types. Water needs are average. Mulch in the wither around the base lightly. Fertilize yearly in the spring. Trimming and pruning are not necessary but can be done in late winter if desired.
