Parsoni, Juniperus squamata expansa ‘Parsonii’, is a fast growing, blue-green, spreading juniper. Works well on slopes for erosion control and softens the look of walls, when allowed to cascade freely. Makes an excellent accent plant- holds its color even in the winter. Its juniper berries attract birds and other wildlife.

Parsoni Juniper Care

Plant in well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Water regularly to establish and then during periods of extreme heat or drought. Mulch new plantings to control weeds and to maintain consistent moisture.

Parsoni Juniper Spacing

Plant 6 feet apart, as measured from the center of each plant, for mass plantings or when used as a groundcover. Space 8-9 feet apart in the shrub border.
